About Me

My name is Devon Corrigan and I am currently working on my Master’s Degree at Baldwin Wallace to become an Intervention Specialist. I graduated from Baldwin Wallace in 2008 with my undergraduate degree in accounting with a minor in economics and absolutely adore Baldwin Wallace, so I am back! I have always loved children so I decided to shift careers and started working as a Paraprofessional for St. Jude School. After a few months, I realized I feel at home in the school environment working with students of all skill levels so I decided it was time to go so I can work with all students, especially special needs students.

I am married with two daughters, two dogs, and three cats! I grew up in Avon Lake and came back here to raise my daughters. I love reading, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and giving back to the community.

I believe teaching students is more than lessons on reading, writing, math, history, gym, music, and art. I believe students learn so much more than the core subjects but also learn how to create relationships and work in groups. My days are brightened working with students, even on a hard day! I care about their whole well being so if a student is having a hard day and needs a hug, they can ask for one. If a student needs to talk or needs an ear, I will be there for them. It is a true blessing to work with children and I love getting to know them individually and watch them learn and grow.
